No not necessarily. Just be aware of it when you compare it to other frequencies and areas. Check to see if frequency in other bars equals the area or has it been doubled say or modified in any way by a scale factor other than 1.

Normally in most questions area = frequency. In this one it was area = k x frequency where k did not equal 1.

I got the answer just by doing the class width x freq. dens. of the area we needed...

Can you explain why you needed to do so much more work when the answer is the same just doing what I did?

Strange... I solved it just by doing 90.5-78.5 x 1 ... lol without finding the total area.
