Croatia  officially the Republic of Croatia is a country at the crossroads of Central and Southeast Europe. It shares a coastline along the Adriatic Sea. Croatia Blue is a courageous, sensual, colourful, evocative story that will last in my mind. Well written and told with delicacy. Barbara Unković has dared to tell it the way it is underneath the glossy tourist exterior of Croatia. She has dared to expose the corrupt bureaucracy while she paints a colourful picture of island life. Absolutely enjoyed going with her on her journey bank to her paternal roots. One of the best memoirs I have read.

I's a nice video, but narator did not pronounce even one mentioned place in Croatia properly and that spoiled the whole video. The author of the video should first learn how to pronounce the names of the towns, islands and parks in Croatia properly...I am a Croat from Croatia and the wrong pronounciation of names really bothers me...

I am travelling in Croatia right now. I was here 20 years ago and it was a beautiful place. Now it is the most expensive place in the Mediterranean. Scams are everywhere including having you car towed if you have foreign plates. The cities are much dirtier and have become party towns for drunk youths. The sea around the main towns and islands is no longer clean. There are much cheaper and nicer destinations now, do not come here.
