What On Earth Is Going On At Man City?

Following six Premier League titles in seven years, an unprecedented four Premier League titles in a row, and a treble, Manchester City haven't just suffered a slump in the last couple of months, they have collapsed.

Amidst a backdrop of 130 charges brought against the club by the Premier League, Pep Guardiola has lost five games in a row for the first time in his career, he has gone seven games without a win, and they have only won one of their last twelve matches in all competitions.

So in this video, by popular demand, HITC Sevens takes a look at Manchester City's current crisis, the causes behind it, and whether it is a blip or something much more serious.

Having an (effectively) 18-man squad to play 50-60 games a season is an insane risk in moderm football. Frankly, it's been an astonishing statistical anomaly over the last 7 years that it took this long for a situation like the current one to develop at City.
