How to start your own Free Company

free companies are player run guilds that have advantages that can make playing ffxiv more enjoyable. you can also have a solo free company if you just want the advantages without dealing with others.

Must have joined a grand company through the story before making a free company. talk to the oic administrator and found a free company option. make a name for the fc and a gamer tag after you must get three others to sign your petition to start one. make sure they don't want to stay if you plan on making a solo fc or have a friend make alts they can delete later. return to the oic npc pay 15k gil and congratulations on your new fc.

I see so many FCs out there with less than 10 members it's kind of sad.

I find it one of the fastest way to increase your FC rank is by unsyched Normal raid, my personal fav is Alexander and Omega, solo the easiest one, open all the loot chest to get the part, keep collecting the parts from the chest and after you have many, trade it to the raid armor vendor then trade it for the seal in grand company. This can level your FC rank really fast, better if you also have friends that can help doing this.
