Hearing this in 1978 as a 16 year old blew my mind . They had moved up a gear creatively and into the stratosphere when they unleashed this gem of a record. My brother bought a rickenbacker two weeks after listening to this . He saw them at the Apollo in Glasgow in 1977 with the Dickies supporting, i was jealous as fuck .

I used to think he was saying In the Clouds so when someone asked me if I knew the "In the Crowd" song I said no lol! Great track, this album is the first Jam album I really liked, that sounds like the Jam I know and love, listening through their albums is a wonder, the progression is so interesting.
