I FIXED FIFA 23! - Best Slider & Game Settings for the most enjoyable Career Mode Experience!

SpoonyPizzas here guys, here are the best slider and gameplay settings that make for the most enjoyable career mode experience and I've fallen in-love with my Career Mode with Nottingham Forest. These really saved the game for me... I was on the verge of giving up and cancelling all my streams!

G'day from Aus spoony - from my testing I found changing acceleration is what breaks the defenders sprint responsiveness. However, sprint speed can be changed without breaking anything. For those looking to try slow down the gameplay a little (less ice skating).

Thanks so much for this such a simple change, but a huge difference. I used my heavily customized sliders that I used in 22 and I was having a miserable time and every game was a goal fest for either me or the ai. Been getting a lot more games with just 0-3 goals which is a lot more fun than battering the other team or getting battered 5-0

Coming from a CM OG, you need to do way more than this to make it relaistic. Here's a few more things, and I'll order in importance:
1. Marking - 100
2. Pass speed - 40-45
3. Defensive line height - 100
4. Defensive line length - 30
5. Run frequency - 1
6. Full-back positioning - 5
7. Pass error - 70
8. First touch error - 70
9. Shooting error - 65-69 (depending on your ability)
10. Shot power - 49
11. Injury frequency - 75
12. Injury severity - 25

Acceleration and sprint speed seem to be much more realistic in this game than previous FIFA titles where I would turn them way down, so I haven't felt the need to tinker with those.

I've realized that without massively tweatking the sliders I won't find much enjoyment out of fifa23. I was trying a more "realistic" feel so I had game speed to low but will flip it back to default next time.
Man marking has to be 80 or above, maybe 100 as you have it. I'm finding World Class kind of easy so will try Legendary next time. I'll try increasing user shot, first touch, pass error as well. I think turning down pass speed will be key as well.
My main concern is how useless my defenders are, they dont mark and hardly ever even attempt a tackle. My team is scoring at will but so are the opponents lol Don't get me started on my wingers, I play as a CM so if I'm not the one trying to get them involved, they simply don't do anything. I know there's a very good game hidden in there, I just have to mess around with the sliders to unlock it.

The gameplay in Efotball is light years more lifelike. This FIFA is still very much art and arcade

Went from winning 5-0, 6-1 to pushing for 1-1s, amazing the difference . It does take a minute to get used to 3 minute halves tho but it makes for more intense game, cheers

Have to totally disagree with these settings and sliders. I heard you mentioned that slowing the game speed down is broken, it absolutely isn't with my settings. I think I've found a way that makes the gameplay brilliant. I was an avid FIFA player since I can remember up until last year when I barely played FIFA 22 more than an hour, I got bored so quickly and never played it again. FIFA 23 I am really enjoying it and I recently found your channel and wanted to share what settings I use.

Competitive Master Switch - Off
Contextual Agile Dribbling - On
Auto Clearances, Flair Pass, Shots - On
Assisted Headers - Off
Jockey = Assisted
Defending - Tactical
Through Pass Assistance - Semi
Ground Pass Assistance - Assisted
Shot, Cross, Lob Pass, Lobbed Through Pass, Save - Semi.

Found out these settings are pretty good for me even on Slow Paced Speed, The Ai runs back for both teams, no ridiculous defending for the most part (Obviously user skilled etc…) I've played 5 games at the start of my Career mode as Liverpool. Drew 2-2 with Man City in the CS after being 2-0 down and scoring 2 goals in the last 10 mins and winning on pens. Drew 1-1 against Everton, Lost 2-0 away to Man Utd and then back to back 1-0 wins against Wolves and Crystal Palace. Every single game has been a tough test, as it should be. In some of the games, I made bad decisions in the final third, so it wasn't down to the Ai. Not sure how these settings work on World Class or Ultimate. But as I said, I found the perfect balance for me, and I am enjoying it. Sorry for the long monologue lol but wanted to share my experience so far. Keep up the work.

Is FIFA 23 worth a buy? With these settings, YES! It's the most enjoyable experience I've EVER had in a Career Mode. Is it pure simulation? No, we can't achieve that until they patch and fix the Defensive AI!

has anyone else noticed that headers are OP as well? Managing to score with headers from outside the box with ease

Brilliant work...the defensive was a headache with legendary...before your slider i could only manage the defence with back 3 setup only, since they only attack through middle...however will give these sliders a shot

I hate this game so much, I just want pes 21 back .
I just can not defend in career mode, my players just stand there, the games physics are not responsive enough if a pass is made in the box, even if you switch in time, it’s just awful.

After watching your video I had the game on slow paced, adjusted the settings you mentioned too and seems a bit better with defending .
It feels so so fast it’s like nhl, why can’t pes just sort themselves out 😢

Thank god it ain’t just me I was beating legendary difficultly in fifa 22 w ease and now I can’t even get 50% possession😭 players feel absolutely terrible have no clue what they have done with the mechanics
