It's perfect for me as a truck driver, you can't loose it anymore drinking while driving

To those not from Europe, it was relatively recently implemented. Our caps used to go all the way off, too, but they changed it to protect the environment, as they said.

And yes, it's on most stuff now. Like milk containers, sodas, and other things where the cap is made of plastic.

I hate the fact it's sometimes hard to close the bottle

A little tip:

If you want to drink with this kind of bottle you can turn the cap upside down so it doesn't bother you

It’s so good! Attached bottle caps are a fairly new thing in the UK and I’ll take the annoying part of it over the increased recycling = better for the environment part. Also never losing a lid is pretty good tbh.

The most annoying thing is that it rarely closes correctly after

Here in Romania, we used to have regular bottles where the cap could completely come off until like a few months ago. Let's just say that all of my family and friends were annoyed by it (including me), but you slowly get used to them and it's kind of useful to not worry about losing the cap

I used to hate these, but they actually are p useful for drinking water with just one hand and not losing the cap. Ive grown to appreciate these while im at work.

I hate it at first, but now i think that they are very practical, because you can use only one hand to open bottles and containers, also, you dont have to spare a second to which bottle goes each cap because they are attached, and obviously, for the people who throw or drop the caps to the ground it is better this way, so they dont end up in the sea or grass or environment

I am French and don’t like it too much, sometimes I literally just rip it off the bottle.
Either way I’ll keep the cap on the bottle and throw it away with the bottle

In Brazil, there's a campaign where we use the cap of the bottles (either water bottle or soda bottles) and turn them in so they can be used to make wheel chairs (don't ask me how that works) to the disabled

Tip for everyone:
Those caps are manyfactured as a one piece, so you have to bend them a bit more and make sure all strands are free, sometimes one or two get left behind and don't let the cap fold away enough. The links are also stiff from factory, you need to bend them more and they will move freely, you will be able to push tem aside eaisly and they won't get in the way while closing.

I love those caps, they make drinking and driving a breeze

My father breaks them off everytime saying: "if they cared for the environment the bottle wouldn't be of plastic" we're italians btw

I went to Italy, France, and Spain for Spring Break, and all bottle had this. I said to myself “I wish the U.S had this!”

pro tip: if you twist the cap then one of the plastic thingys will break which makes it a lot easier to put back on
