How to charge your iPhone 13 battery. iPhone 13, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max and 13 Mini don't include a power adapter in the box, only a USB-C to Lightning cable. There are multiple ways.
As stated, this fast charger adapter should not be required for most people who own a wireless charger, older iPhone lightning cable/adapter, USB-C adapter, etc.

Does it matter which method in regards to long term battery health? I recall hearing that a slower charge is better for a battery, and thus a faster charge will age a battery quicker. Is there any truth to that? Or is that a NiMh battery thing and not so with lithium ion batteries?

you can also plug the end of the cord into a macbook pro/air and charge your phone that way. i had to do that until i could buy a box for my charger.
