I'm Jayla Hardimon, and I live the "solo female van life" with my toddler, Kareem. We've been on the road full time and although our road has been met with what feels like a zillion ups and downs, we've finally gotten to the point where living in a van feels like home. Sometimes we're alone in the woods, in the desert, sometimes we are chasing snow or thunderstorms, sometimes we're trying to see all 50 states, and sometimes we're making videos here on Youtube, TikTok, Instagram about our feelings. But, MOST times we are enjoying life and doing a lot of sightseeing, tourist attractions and fun kiddo activities. All in all we are just two beings trying to discover the meaning behind a happy, healthy life.

A good alternative to washing slightly dirty dishes is mix vinegar & water in spray bottle and just spray and wipe down dishes.

California is a good state for van life because there is no winter cold which might cause you to freeze!
