EJS Project's Story- At the Heart of Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County

EJS Project is a Palm Beach County nonprofit that provides a safe space after school for teens. Founded by Dupree Jackson and named after Dupree's father, Emanuel Jackson Sr., the program empowers youth to overcome disadvantages through workforce readiness, civic engagement, social-emotional skills and exposure-based skill building. EJS Project is making a difference in teens' lives.

Children's Services Council of Palm Beach County is proud to support EJS Project, a recipient of CSC's Great Ideas Initiative funding. The Great Ideas Initiative was created to raise up grassroots nonprofits dedicated to serving the children and families of Palm Beach County. EJS Project is one of dozens of grassroots nonprofits that has received funding from CSC in the last decade.

That's why CSC is highlighting EJS Project as part of this year's "At the Heart of CSC" campaign. Every year, the "At the Heart" campaign features individuals and organizations instrumental in CSC's mission of improving the lives of children and families in Palm Beach County.
