Ashley the most astounding thing about this video is that they're in this dangerous situation and neither of them appear to wearing life vests. Forget the new boat the best investment you can make is a good life vest. I used to take my 14 ft Valco aluminum Lake boat with a 15 horse Johnson on it by myself offshore a mile or two offshore San Diego. A common misconception is that you'll have time to put your life vest on when you need it. Well what if you hit something and you get knocked out on your way out of the boat and are unconscious in the water?

No, wouldn't have left the dock! Husband is a tugboat Captain/engineer and I would need a bigger boat with him in the wheelhouse before I'd venture out in any rough seas. We are from a fishing village born & raised on the same strip of sand as our ancestors since at least 1680 & 1750. 😅😅 Makes sense to stay on the dock with the cameraman ❤

In rough weather like this you should be wearing a life jacket. If you can afford this boat you can afford a high quality inflatable life jacket. I hope he’s using his kill switch tether. Some people like a rough run into the waves. His boat is capable of handling it. Hopefully the capris as well.

Not with my 1973 21' Reinell cuddy cruiser hardtop. The canvas cover has like 50 snaps to cover the rear 6 feet to make it completely waterproof, and if it capsized, (unlikely) it would flip back upright within 5 seconds, taking on maybe 1 quart of water between the buttons😊
