The seated leg raise exercise helps strengthen muscles around your knees.

• Sit on a chair (or exercise ball) with both legs bent at 90°.
• Slowly raise your right leg so that it's parallel to the floor, keeping your left foot on the ground.
• Hold for a few seconds, then slowly bring the right foot back to the floor, and repeat on left leg.
Repeat 5 - 10 times per leg
