Ripple XRP SEC lawsuit | THE TRUTH

Will the Ripple XRP lawsuit end in triumph, placing Ripple at the forefront of the next wave of regulated crypto services, or will the SEC strike the first nail in the coffin of all altcoins, turning them all into regulated securities?

Clearly the SEC can go back 10 years ago when XRP launched in June 2012, and say “Hey guys we decided to not tell you for one decade, but now we’ve decided that you did wrong”. If they can do that, they can go after any altcoin.

I admit, I haven’t been the biggest XRP fan during the years I’ve been into blockchain, but perhaps the world is changing. The era of free experimentation and open innovation perhaps is coming to an end, stopped by regulators and governments who try hard to preserve the old and prevent change?

The fact alone that the SEC totally changed its arguments so many times says it all. No way that they can still win this case. Investing at least some amount into XRP is a no-brainer because the potential upside benefit totally outweighs the downside risk at this stage

A pretty safe asymmetric bet: Chances are very high that Ripple wins that ridiculous weak lawsuit and price will shoot up super fast to new ATH. And in the very unlikely case that the SEC succeeds that’s already priced-in at the currently low price level but all other alt coins will dump much harder since a negative judgement would mean all of them without any exception are deemed securities.

You overlooked the simplest option. Ripple or XRP didn't give bags to the SEC. The previous SEC was paid off by blockchains to be deemed "not securities" Hindman received a few million to say this and was paid by the eth alliance. So now ripples paid 100 million fighting it or so they say. So they can either bankrupt them or get paid. They will get a fine and then clarity. They let banks launder money everyday, even after they get caught multiple times and the fines never bankrupt them from continuing the operation.

Solid analysis 👍 In the likely event that XRP wins the case the price will explode over night and in the unlikely event that it doesn’t the downside is very limited based on its current low price. In fact the downside risk for all other alt coins is much higher since a negative ruling will inevitably make all alt coins including ETH securities and they’ll drop much harder than XRP for which it’s already priced in. Pretty simple investment case.

Nice video, I really appreciate the research you have done and the education you are giving people that may not know about ripple or XRP and the importance of this lawsuit.

A buddy of mine and I have followed this closely as XRP is our biggest holding. At this time with the absurdity of the SEC in flip-flopping four or five times now on the Hinman emails, we have come to the conclusion that the lawsuit is all smoke and mirrors. We think it is irrelevant because XRP is a technology that the banks need, that the central banks need. There are too many documents and patents that mention ripple and XRP. But that’s a conversation for another day. Cheers
