iPhone 5S iOS 9.0.1 vs iOS 8.4.1

R.I.P iOS 9.0.. You only got to live for 7 days. Long live
the new iOS 9.0.1. So hoping that Apple has fixed plenty bugs
and hopefully improved speed a bit. Let's test it against iOS
8.4.1. Maybe it will help people who has stayed on 8.4.1 to
move to iOS 9... Let's check if 9.0.1 is faster.

Hi to everyone. Got an iphone 5s and i upgrade it to ios 9.0.1 from 8.1.3. I installed it from iTunes above the previous ios (Plugged it to the computer, made back up, download and install New up date, and the Phone got 9.0.1 with all the apps and data i had before). Ios 9.0.1 is working fine!!! I have to say that i was worried before upgrading because of commentaries about ios 9.0.1. Also, battery on 8.1.3 was great and didnt want to have bad battery life. I've sean no lag at all, i life the way that apps shows in background, ios factor to close them. And the battery ios the same when i had 8.1.3. Great!! Or maybe better, i unplugged it from charger yesterday at 9:00 am And at the en of the Day i have 75% of battery yet (i use it Just a couple of WhatsApp, 2 Phone calls, sometido web browsing, Checking appstore if there were something to download). At standby Mode doesnt discharge at all. If i Went to sleep with 100% i wake up with 100 of battery. When ios 8.1.3 battery was also good. Going to sleep with ej 50%, Waking up with 47 or 48%. The only problem i have is that apple music doesnt work on my iphone. I click to open the app and from the first day it didnt showed me the image of first time on apple music, i cant use the app, cant registre, cant search music, nothing. I think that maybe could be something with the registration proces (the app doesnt let me chose to enter or sign iphone, nothing) because on my Mac i cant see the app music either (iTunes 12.3 - last version upgraded). No care much anyway bien because i use Spotify and ios great. Going back to the subject i purchase 5s and it had already 8.1.3 working fine. I upgrade to 9.0.1 and continue working fine. I like the battery options. I think that tris New ios 9 doesnt have many New features. I also think that dont Know why some gets good experience and others bad ones, on every ios. My iPhone 5s is seriously lagging after update. Several programs have become very slow. Thank you apple ;@

I learned my lesson when iOS 7 came out and I had an iPhone 4s. It slowed it down so much it was no longer useable. Looks like I will be keeping my 5s at 8.4. Maybe 9.1 will fix all the lag.

btw why is your left device dim? is it just a brightness setting?

I see that there is a little lag on iOS 9 however as a previous apple device owner I know that the small lag can ruin the whole experience

i doubt the release of 9.1 would fix any lag on the 5S. best to stay with ios8

I updated to iOS 9.0 on launch date and my phone started lagging AF so I downgraded to 8.4.1. Today I factory reset 8.4.1 updated to 9.1 and set up my 5s as a new device. Now my device doesn't lag at all. I don't know if this i gonna work for u guys but I just decided to share. Peace!!
