just picked up Friday Monsters today. I'm a MASSIVE tokusatsu nerd and when I saw the intro screen on a streamer's 3DS grab-bag collection, I knew immediately I needed this. I just started it tonight and I didn't expect it to be so relaxed and laid back. it's absolutely a hidden gem and heartbreaking that games like this are lesser-known and about to be much harder to find.

Attack of the friday monsters is one of those games I bought in my final purchase spree before the 3ds store closed down. Still haven't played it, but after seeing The boy and the heron recently, I'll play it this friday 💫

Loved Attack of The Friday Monsters. If I could evoke a similar memory or feeling for comparison, it would be like when I started playing Animal Crossing New Horizons at launch.

I hadn't played an Animal Crossing game before so coming into it was like a real escape from the busyness of everyday life and AoTFM was very much the same.

Just the simple joys of exploring this new little haven, taking things at your own pace, the little things and interactions.

If Shin Chan is anything like this, and it looks like it will be, I will be a very happy chappy indeed

Lol I literally just brought attack of the friday monsters yesterday, it's amazing, and so charming. In fact, most games part of level 5's GUILD collection are worth playing, both weapon shop de omasse and starship damrey are so underrated as well. Worth getting before the eshop purge!

Right now I'm a bit burn out of other, harder games (MH4U G-Rank will do that to ANYONE after a month of non-stop grinding) so a nice, chill game like this is just perfect to just relax with a cup of coffee, I'm so glad I got this before the E-Shop closed, thanks a lot.

Great video! I'd also like to add that the first Boku no Natsuyasumi was ported to the PSP, with some changes worth checking out.
The second game was also ported to the PSP, but it's pretty much the same thing as the original PlayStation 2 release.
And there's yet another game you didn't mention: Bokura no Kazoku, a spin-off released for the PS2.

The bug catching and wandering around the country reminds me of Yo-kai Watch! Specifically the second game. This game looks exactly like something I'd enjoy, thanks!
Edited to add: I just bought it and saw it's made by the same developers, Level 5. No wonder it made me think of Yo-kai Watch.
