Sayori is THE core character of DDLC. Just think about it. She's the first and last character we see in-game. Her death is the turning point for the game. Sayori was the first to take initiative and join the literature club. Sayori was also the one to bring the MC into the club. Without Sayori, there is no literature club.

Ah Sayori, aka, how many people realized they may not be doing the best mentally. I jest, but I love Sayori, both design wise and as what she stands for. This game is much about how invisible mental illness can be, and nowhere is that better shown that with Sayori. Be kind to those around you. You never know what they are dealing with.

She's definitely the canon best gf for mc imo, she know him since long, she's kind and is always here for him. The thing is she's depressed and have severe self-love issues, she's not gonna kill herself without Monika but it needs to be addressed to make her gain self-confidence and true happiness.

On my first playthrough of DDLC, I took no effort at all to tell her "I love you." She's way too precious, I value my childhood friends, and I have a soft spot for people going through depression and making their way out of it alive and well. My first experience of the second ending of DDLC is one of the most precious things I feel that gaming has ever given to me.

Sayori was the most relatable character to my life in fiction. Especially because I'd attempted to commit Sayori in my sophomore year in high school 😔, several months before ever seeing DDLC, so playing the game for the first time truly impacted me. Thus I made Sayori my pfp 😊

i think that in sayori's ingame sprites, she has a little side ponytail! It might just be a messy piece of hair since it doesnt show up in the game menu art, but it does come off of the bow, and i think it would :
1. be cute
2. might also be a hint towards her depression, since she wouldn't want to get out to cut her hair
