I would only do this if your hinge is bent, otherwise just back off the hinge screws on the door side just enough that you can slide the door back where you want it and tighten it back up.

Forgive me but Im just trying to understand I have an Iroc Z with this issue. What exactly is happening here? Are the hinges being bent upwards or whats going on? Does this fix worn bushings and pins? How does this help? Just trying to understand the theory here. Thank you

Does this tool allow adjustment up, down and left and right dependent on how you pull/press it ? Have a door thats high and too far in ....

Some guys just open the door when there's a bicyclist coming. Usually does the trick.

The alternative would be to take off front fenders for most cars, to reach the bolts; and even that is hard to get right :(

I don't understand how this is adjusting the door without having to loosen the hinge bolts first. Those are what hold the door in adjustment.

I was looking at this tool on Rock Auto. After seeing this video I'm sold. The driver's door on my 1993 Lebaron convertible is sagging and I hope this will be the answer. Thanks for posting this useful video.
