As a swede i can confirm that the kebab pizza is delicious.

Here in Italy pizza is more common to eat in events and family gatherings at restaurants. Not many people buy it frozen and restaurants only make pizza at night, not for lunch, unless it's a place that sells pizza Al taglio, pizza made in big rectangles and sold in slices, often with supplì and/or arancini as a side. These are probably some of the reasons Italy isn't at the number 1 spot.

Good thing to see cultures spreading around and adapted in various combinations. Kebab and Pizza, neither originated in Sweden. Yet, what a great combination.

In finland we usually eat pizza like once every month and one pizza has 8 slices so 8x12= about 96 slices every year

As a Swedish-Norwegian person i wasn’t surprised Norway was number 1. We norwegians eat a lot of frozen pizza and stuff.

The reason our numbers are so high is because of how utterly ubiquitous fast-food pizza chains are (and, of course, because of how many Italians emigrated here)

for reference, kebabpizza being a ”swedish” dish is like chicken tikka masala being a british dish. it’s a fusion of immigrant foods made to please the people of this country, and it’s grown so popular it might be considered the unofficial official dish here.

lol i can kinda confirm Australia. i’m a Kiwi and i have a little cousin and more relatives that live in Brisbane and they go out and eat pizza a lot i see it on their ig stories and stuff haha. another one of my relatives that lives in Dunbogan New South Wales has even bought their own pizza oven lmao
