The Circle - Icelandic Winter

In February we went on a little trip through Iceland. Renting a car and staying 12 nights we thought we had enough time to easily make a round trip and visit every major attraction. What we didn't take into consideration was that the road conditions during winter are really bad and it took us much longer than expected with a lot of roadblocks and closed or frozen waterfalls.
Even though a lot of this countries beauty is hidden beneath snow in the icelandic winter we had a great trip and I'm glad that I made this experience at least once in my life!

My goal to make a crazy good travel film didn't really work out during this trip since extreme cold shut down my camera every now and then and the gusts of wind made it impossible to film without - and still hard to film with - a gimbal. Sadly, in these harsh conditions even my Drone broke down after the first proper flight and I wasn't able to capture most of what I had planned.
I still think the video turned out great and even though it's not a "Sam Kolder" I am very proud of it and hope you enjoy! :)
