That's why most republics (at least the democratic ones) have a President and a Prime minister. Usually the president is choosen by all parties and he is an old judge, an old diplomat or an old politician that is admired. The prime minister runs the goverment and the president represents the State.

I don't agree with all they say but I love the way they disagree, respect each other's humanity, see the grace, love and vulnerability in each other and I admire greatly the vastness of their education. I am so glad you two are a part of this world.

There is nothing absurd about having a monarchy. Why would it be inherently ridiculous to have a monarchy? Is it just because people consider it outdated, is it not democratic enough, or is it something else? I honestly don't see "outdated" as a very valid point, so the claim that the idea of a monarchy is absurd needs some level of support.

I love the idea of Constitutional Monarchy, it makes total sense. I don't think a lot of people know the USA was almost we were courting a German Prince

I don’t think it’s absurd at all. I think the monarchy is fabulous. The British politicians teach me nothing about Great British or her realms and do nothing to promote her lands and businesses. There’s no sacredness or unity. The Royal Warrant is invaluable and everything the monarchy does holds the kingdom together. Every country should have one.

Laughable reasoning. The Crown and the Executive serve the same class and their instutitions belong to the same class. They are not opposed, they are symbiotic.

Constitutional monarchy has been good for the UK of GB & N.I as well as other commonwealth nations but it has to modernize & slim back for a little while under this cost of living crisis is over.

Its called the constitution. We dont need a human to worship
