The Batman was inspired by the long Halloween and Year one or zero it was a detective story that is the one thing live-action Batman’s don’t get it’s literally what makes Batman and marvel has been getting some comic fans mad because they change the comics like look at she-hulk or recently how they gender-swap the dog cosmo

Honestly I’m kind of neutral about this but I think half of what I’m about to say isn’t what people mean when they say a movie based off of comics
Sticking to the source material could help out a movie(mainly because if it’s comic based then it has to) because there are some things in comic books that I feel like most DC and Marvel fans would want to see on the big screen
But if there are people that mean the movie being exactly like the comic I say it’s good and bad
Good because like I said we are seeing comic book scenes that many grew up with in live action and it’s like they are a kid again but I’d say it’s bad because if the movie is entirely based off the comic even down to the words in the script then that would be pointless because all you’d have to do is read the comic and you already know what’s going down in the film
