How memory is allocated in Java/ What is Java Memory Model

In this video I have explained about different memory area we have in Java.

While write classes in Java you define different types of variables like static variables, instance variables, String Pool, Objects or Thread object this is where the memory model comes into the picture. Each variables is stored in the specific area.

Broadly Java Memory Model is classified into five types

1. Method Area
2. Heap Memory
3. Stack
4. PC registrer
5. Native method
