These are LONG TERM PICKS - for short term, all of these companies can go down or up. Do NOT trade options with these companies as their price movement can be all over the place, especially during earnings. The overall market is down, especially higher growth sectors like tech. And volatility is everywhere.

My take on investing: Under 10% of portfolio in individual companies, 90%+ in index funds. Picking stocks is inherently not the smartest move! Long term investing in the market IS the smart move.

Great video and indeed inflation rates has reached a historic high, no one knows what's eventually coming next but in my opinion the market been bearish is a valid push towards investing and trading smartly and I say this confidently because I started off again late July and August have been so beneficial so far. I< remember when I just got into crypto back in 2017 but later in 2018 I ended up selling it because I was dumb and I didn't understand it. I studied and learned and now I know how it works. I respectfully strongly disagree about the wisdom of investing in single stocks or only a handful of stocks. A key fundamental part to investing is diversification. There are Analysts that make a full time living analyzing and selecting stocks. Why do we believe that we can do better these guys when we are spending a fraction of the time researching them? There are numerous examples of single companies that had you purchased, you would have been far worse off today. I.E Pfizer, Enron and numerous others. These were once juggernauts. Now where are they? Warren Buffet says the average investor should just invest in mutual funds or target dated funds and call it a day.
