Thank you so much for covering and preserving all of this! I don't know much about the Barcode Battler, but I have a huge fascination with the Sonic the Hedgehog manga Shogakukan published in the early 90s. The Sonic cards feature (most likely unique!!) artwork by one of the manga's illustrator, so they're quite the novelty.

Hi!

Sorry for the crude means to contact you, but since the Museum site currently doesn't have any contact info I figured I'd try my hand at commenting on the newest video on your channel.

I'm Borp and I'm a Mario researcher of sorts. Years ago I got my hands on an Irwin-brand Barcode Battler and more recently I got a set of Epoch's Super Mario Kart cards since at the time there was no info about them online. This leads me to two questions:

1. I tried testing the Mario Kart cards out on my Irwin unit, but aside from the eight character cards, none of the item or obstacle cards generate the same stats as what's posted on Viti's site. Is this because his info is generated via Barcode Battler Engine, or is it because Japanese cards only work properly on a Japanese Barcode Battler?

2. I watched your Super Mario World video and read the section on your site, and I noticed the rules you posted for C2 Mode don't match what it says to do in the instruction manual you have. The manual seems to suggest C2 Mode is meant to work exactly the same as the base instructions Was this intentional?

Thanks in advance!

No Sentai cards? I thought there'd be at least one somewhere.

Did every Barcode Battler come with the same cards or were they random, just want to figure out if the former owner missed giving me some cards
