As Someone with an iq of 160, it is the worst thing to hear that having an high iq means your the top student. Sure, you are the smartest, but I cannot count the amount of times someone said to me: if you’re so smart, then why don’t you get straight A’s? It doesn’t work like that, and it’s super annoying that this is stereotypical image is so common

One thing I don’t like is when people assume that higher iq = better marks. It doesn’t always work like that, especially since a lot of people underestimate how truly corrupt the school system can be. Ever wondered why the popular rich kids always get top marks despite never even paying attention? It’s not because they’re gifted, not usually. Chances are their parents are ‘donating’ money to the school, happens a lot more often than you’d think, particularly at private schools.

this is wrong, if this actually happened your iq would reach insane numbers, which are also quite specific. for example, one day you could have an iq of 927424142582752 in one day, and the next could possibly be 342652. since there was never mentioned a maximum, this is possible. this would most likely not kill you, since it is technically a one in infinity chance to get 0 iq
