Nothing imo will ever top his moth joke on Conan. His pauses, Conan seeing what he’s doing but not being able to stop him, the uneasy crowd. He’s my favorite for a reason and may we all get a laugh like the ones he gave to us!

Thanks Gary! Norm's style was so relaxed it's like he never intended to get to a punchline. You're right in saying Norm could have told the joke in one line but it was definitely not the most important part to him. I've loved him long time! In Saturday Night Live asking Jeff Goldblum what they fed the dinosaurs on the set of Jurassic Park to the Germany bit on David Letterman's final show. He was a king.

you are right about norm and his grinning... you got the feeling that he was having fun all by himself, whether or not everyone was on board.

he was a rascal, as can be seen in his interview on 'the view, ' where he (purposely) exasperated almost the entire cast with his shenanigans! 🤣
