* If you think the OG game wasn’t as blurry or pixelated as shown., look up the games native resolution and compare that to your phone’s and/or screens. Base footage uses nearest neighbor upscaling to preserve the original pixel ratio. Old games on modern screens are more pixelated. They were not designed for modern displays.

* Before you correct a resolution definition, please note that emulators provide intervals of native resolution rather than standard values of “2k” or “4k”.

* Before commenting anything along the lines of “How I play, put the disc in the console” I’m happy for you. Play how you want.

* For Steam Deck, if you are running windows and NOT SteamOS all my videos will work.

* I’ve never emulated using a phone, unfortunately I cannot help you.

* OBS drops frames while recording, frame drops are usually from OBS, not the game.

* Do not ask where to pirate games

This is cool but I'd also enable Runahead to negate input lag. It's usually around 4 frames with the Ridge Racer games.

When you add Lossless Scaling it adds about 1 frame of input lag.

So combine the two and you get 60fps and 1 frame of input lag. Which is technically the best way to play gameplay wise

You can also try those high res CRT filters that really do a fantastic job of recreating the old school crt tv look with retroarcade.
