Interview With Grand Prix Champion Despina Georgiadou

This is an interview with the 2021 Orleans Grand Prix individual women's sabre champion, Despina Georgiadou, from Greece. Despina talks about how she won the tournament after coming down with COVID in March, breaking her leg in June, and being kept out of the top 16 in this tournament because of a seeding mistake. This was also the first time two Greek fencers have ever met in the finals of a tournament so she talks about what it meant to her to meet her teammate in the final.
