How to Build your OWN Kit with the ALESIS STRATA PRIME Demo & Tutorial

This is a tutorial for how to build AND edit your OWN Kit using the Prime Module from the Alesis Strata Prime E-kit. Using the 75th Prime Factory Kit - 'Empty Kit', we will build a completely new kit from scratch to add to our Alesis Strata Prime Electronic Drum Kit. First we will look at the Kit Edit page to learn how to assign all the differnt Drum sample spunds to all the different drum triggers. We will then move on and start creating the actual kit focussing on the TOM TOM's to then find a KICK/BASS Drum that matches. Once we have the basis of the E-kit we can then find a SNARE and Matching Cymbal set to fit in with the new Toms and Bass Drum. At the end of the video - after building the new Kit and Saving it to the Alesis Strata Prime Module, we will then look at how to make changes/adjustments to some of the preset kits by changing the Hi-Hat on the First kit from the Prime Factory Playlist (NY Maple Kit).

Hey, is it possible to assign tom sound to other pads other than toms ? For example if I wanted to turn snare into 5th tom ( additional floor tom) would that be possible? Or would the module force me into chosing only snare sounds since it's plugged into "snare" input rather than tom / aux .
