4 Day Camping Trip in the Mountains - Lake District Wild Camping Adventure | Ep 1

I head 5 hours north to spend 4 days camping in the mountains of the Lake District. I camp above the tree line on a ridge by a lake, in the woods, and down in a river valley. I go fishing, swimming and hiking over the 4 days. I stay in my one man tent, and in the roof top tent on the truck. Come and join me on this Lake District Camping adventure. I think many people living in cities suffer from depression because of the lack of going out in the nature. I felt depressive but seeing that sight of north england in its beauty and you guys enjoying your time over there lifted my mood up a little.

Hey Mike! You probably get this a lot but you really inspire me to get outside. So last weekend, from the 3rd to the 5th, and after saving some money and getting my first car a few months back, I took a weekend away on my own to the Lake District. Should have been a three and a half hour drive but after traffic, heavy rain and a service stop it took me 5. I stayed at the raven stone man our hotel on lake bassenthwaite and on Saturday, went into Keswick, bought some boots and extra bits, and took my first walk up one of the mountains. I got up to Dodd summit, 1612ft which isn’t too much but it was my first ever one and I can safely say I’m hooked. I will defiantly be going back up there with a tent and more gear to camp out like you have. Thanks for all the information and motivation you have given me which has brought to me a new hobby! All the best
