Awesome as always! I loved the quote from Elder Oaks quoting someone else and the paradigm shift of the word 'active'. That makes me look at myself differently when I say I'm an active member of the church. I remember hearing a talk when I was a youth and the sister said there was a time she went to all her meetings, but she was inactive because she didn't *live* the Gospel. This quote shows part of how we live the Gospel.

"Is it possible that he actually got it from the disciples?" The answer to that is yes!! In Mormon chapter 8:11 Moroni says "But behold, my father and I have seen them, (the disciples) and they have ministered unto us." That was a really cool insight there! Thanks for sharing!

I am trying to understand your church’s teachings and in my journey to do so I stumbled upon these videos that help explain the Book of Mormon and it’s prophecy Therein …. I am having trouble understanding the sacrament prayers as it opens with O God the eternal Father….
My question is that it is LDS teaching that God was once a man of flesh and he became God of this world through his obedience and righteousness as all LDS men will some day….
So how is he the eternal Father?
You can’t have eternity future without eternity past…. Please explain.

My question it said JESUS ascended to heaven but the descended to another place ?? Why and why didn't the other men of God talk about this ie Paul or any of the new people of God
