Karaköy, a district of the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, is the modern name of the Old Galata District. It is one of the oldest commercial centers, famous for its banks and office buildings. Throughout history, it has come to the fore as a port and trade center. Today, it stands out with its extraordinary and colorful cafes, vibrant nightlife, art, graffiti streets and street delicacies.
Galataport Istanbul is located on the coastline between the Istanbul Karaköy Ferry Terminal and the building belonging to Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Fındıklı Campus. Galata Port is the most beautiful shopping center of Istanbul where many respected brands are represented. The presence of cruise ships at Galata Port will attract more tourists to Istanbul due to its proximity to Taksim Square and Istiklal Street.
