We love New Mexico, but the state is really rough overall. There aren't a lot of destinations, many state run campgrounds are old, and most cities and towns suffer from high crime. If the state raises camping fees too high, many of us are just going to pass through on our way to Arizona or Colorado. Be careful alienating tourists, we'll vote with our feet and take our dollars with us.

Always appreciate your balanced and thoughtful reporting on the rv industry and lifestyle and the national parks. With so much happening it is nice to have a source that is based on the facts and presented in a thoughtful way.

Please bring back your "intro sound effect"! That was a nice touch and I miss it! It fit your show so well!! 😊

Thank you RV Miles for the discussion about the Grand Design frame failure, let alone all the bad build quality issues. Our “Grand Design RV Major Issues”, Facebook site is bringing this out in the open even though GD is still trying to cover this up and censoring social media influencers like myself with non-disclosure agreements and cease and desist letters, like mine. Now trying to get RVers to sign my online “RV federal safety regulations” petition to present to the NTSB/NHTSA/Congress to wake up the RV industry to stop allowing the NHTSA to allow the RV industry to “self-certify and self-regulate” themselves, like the “fox in the henhouse”. Thank you for bringing this out in the open RV Miles! Pete West

Thanks for keeping your finger on the pulse. Since returning to the states we’ve been out of touch on things back home and the updates are helpful.

Good day, since this vid talks about things that happened in 2024. Back in August you posted a few vids about the proposal to develop Lodges, Golf courses and Pickleball courts in Florida State Parks. We people in Florida were not happy. Organized protests and eventually Ron DeSantis put the plan on hold. Recently State Senator Gayle Harrell submitted a bill, called The Florida State Park Preservation Bill which would permanently put an end to this plan as well as protect our beautiful State Parks from this type of development. Thought you would be interested in hearing of this new bill.

I would not say that it will decrease "dramatically" the availability of motorhomes. I think the class c market is about twice the size of the class a and super c market. And within the class a market a vast majority of vehicles sold are on the F53 chassis which Ford can sell with no problem. Even in the super c market there are lots of Ford and GM based rigs. So we end up with at most 25% of the class a and super c market which that aren't Ford or GM based. If you take into account all class c, class b, and Ford or GM based class a and super c motorhomes, the amount of affected Spartan and Freightliner models are quite small and the price of these are going to probably at least $300K. In that case $10K cost for the credit is basically a rounding error. For balance when discussing the topic it should be added the regulation is expected to prevent 1000 premature deaths which should be added into the equation.

Year end wrap-up? Heck there's still 25 days left in the month (and year). Maybe future year end wraps could be held until after Christmas. Anyway thanks for the update.

Lippart takes specs from manufacturer, so it's all Grand Design.

Well ya gotta wonder how many ltva permits r bought by people only staying for a couple of months? I can see many do that but not when they triple the cost next year, so their projection in 2025 dollars will be interesting.🍻
