I’m a pharmacist, and if someone tells me to work faster, I tell them:”We are not allowed to hurry up, because we might make a dangerous mistake”. 😉

I have seen customers that orders food and say they want it fast because they gotta leave for the airport soon and then proceeds to sit for 2 hours.

I’m usually in a hurry but I’m fairly patient so I just tell the person to take their time. If the matter was urgent I wouldn’t be crunching in 5 minutes for ice cream.

I just tell them “OK” and still do it the RIGHT way. They never seem to leave/cancel before getting what they ordered because of their “busy schedule”😂

Time management is a skill lots of people need all the while also needing to stop pushing the fault of said lack of skill onto others.

When I am late, I just say “sorry, I was late” and only give excuses if I actually got fucked (public transportation can do that and i’m already taking buses that will get me where I need to be early, no way in hell am I getting there EVEN earlier just in case one of my buses doesn’t fucking stop at the bus stop and keeps on fucking going (even though I was standing and waiting for it) or just plain doesn’t damn show up).

Reminds me of a woman who came at my pharmacy and asked to take the passeport pictures of her 3 boys. They all were wiggly and couldn't stand still. Their hair was a mess too and the passeport office is very severe on having no flyaways, looking straight ahead and having no hands or smile showing. She angrily groaned and told me to make it quicker after the third attempt. I told her there was no way the pictures would be accepted but she told me to give them to her anyways. The pictures didn't get approved by the passeport office and she came back angry (Karen level) that the pictures got refused. You can't rush those kind of things. The lady got what she deserved + the passeport pictures requirement are online so if she came prepared I wouldnt have given her bad pictures.

Depending on how the customer asks me to "hurry up" is how I determine if I will comply with the request. If they're just being honest, not rude & need to be somewhere - I'd hook em up quickly 👍

When a customer tells you to hurry up (FOR A NON LEGITIMATE REASON), it's legally required to work slower than you would've normally. If you're in a rush, you should've came earlier OR changed your schedule to have enough wiggle room

my favourite was working at a sandwich bar when people wanted to skip the line because they had to get back to work. it’s 12:15: i promise, everyone in front of you is _also_ on lunch break. you’re either panicking for no reason or you’re somehow the only one who didn’t give yourself time to get here.
