The Pullrates really have been terrible so far. I hardly open boosters now because I don’t see the appeal in buying a booster box for 120€ if I never pull anything good from it. They might’ve increased the number of hits but if it’s only cheap EX cards it’s just gambling and a loss of money.
I do open like a blister or an ETB if I like the set but I’m sticking to singles now for the rest.

I'm a typical 30-something-year-old player. Loved the game when I was at school 25 years ago (I couldn't have been a better age for when Pokemon hit the UK) but never played it. Nobody at school did. You just traded cards. Soon as I hit my teens I lost all interest and my love for it only came back during Covid; I found myself watching a ton of booster box openings - new and old cards - and then last year I finally sat down with someone and learned how to play and have been collecting/playing ever since.

I'm definitely an amateur player and probably always will be. My favourite set to collect has been Paradox Rift; it's so under-appreciated. The artwork is amazing and there are so many ARs and SARs. People just forget about it because it came out right after 151 and it just got lost in that hype.
