20 Minute Dinner | TASTY Shrimp Tacos Recipe

Check out these simple and absolutely delicious shrimp tacos with cabbage! These easy shrimp tacos resemble Mexican shrimp tacos made with authentic ingredients and flavors. I hope after watching this video you can confidently know how to make the best shrimp tacos for yourself, family and friends!
INGREDIENTS
Avocado Cream Ingredients
• 1 cup Greek yogurt
• ½ cup sour cream
• 1 avocado halved and flesh scooped out
• 1 small jalapeño, halved and seeds removed
• 2-3 garlic cloves
• 1 small punch of cilantro
• juice from one lime
• salt & pepper
• large or jumbo shrimp, fully peeled and deveined
• 1-2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 tsp smoked paprika
• flour tortillas
• sliced avocado
• shredded red cabbage
• crumbled cotija cheese
• cilantro leaves, stems removed (for garnish)
• lime wedges (for garnish)
DIRECTIONS
1. In a food processor, blend Avocado Crema ingredients until smooth and well blended. Set aside in fridge for 20 minutes while you season and cook shrimp.
3. In a pan over medium high heat, sear shrimp for 1-3 minutes per side and set aside. Work in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan.
4. Heat flour tortillas over a low heat on a gas burner for 5-10 seconds per side.
5. Each taco assembly: heated tortilla, 2 slices of avocado, pinch of shredded red cabbage, 3-5 seared shrimp, a little of the prepared and chilled avocado crema, sprinkle of crumbled cotija cheese, a few leaves of fresh cilantro. Serve with 1 lime wedge for each taco to squeeze on right before eating.
