Hello guys, welcome back to the channel where it is day 78 of paying off my £12,500 Dubai loan

In today’s episode start yet another job, and that is as an Amazon Flex driver

I accidentally picked up a 1 1/2 hour block with only 3 stops.

Surprised with how easy it was #deliverydriver #Amazonflex #amazon #amazondriver

Stick to “logistic” shifts to get parcel routes, I find 3.5hr shifts to be consistently the best money + time wise, I am located in Glasgow though so I know it’ll be different for you, good luck with it - I really enjoy it 👍🏼

You have to be really careful with Co-op and Morrisons blocks bro. Say for example its a 2 hour route (14:00-16:00), you arrive at 13:55 and get assigned at 13:57, you collect and put in the car etc by 14:05, but you only have one drop. Sound amazing right? WRONG :D You actually have to waste you time delivering it, purely because Amazon doesn't like you completing the block more than 30 minutes before you're paid until i.e 14:00-16:00. So even if that ONE delivery stop is only 12 mins drive away, you HAVE to waste time between collecting the packages, to getting to the customer, by an addition set time to make sure you get there within the last 30 minutes of the block (its also proximity based, so if you go more than 5 meters away from the address, you wont be able to complete the delivery - thats why i find it easier to "kill the time" between collecting and dropping off, rather than sitting outside the customer address for 40+ minutes :D

Also, the 3.5hr logistics blocks are pretty good, but generally speaking its rejected morning loads (typically 4 hr routes). Personally i prefer the morning route if i have no other work that day, and the afternoon blocks i.e the 3.5hr and 2.5hr routes generally go towards my home, so much more convenient, but i rarely do them now due to other work being demanding during the times 14:00-20:00. Another bonus with logistics is its on your own time. You will be paid for the full block no matter what, i.e if you turn up and theres no deliveries, you get paid and get to go home, if you have a 4hr route and finish it (miraculously) within 1hr30m then lucky you, complete the jobs, go home and kick back

🇬🇧 Minimum wage = £11.45
Milage (£0.50 per mile) 17 miles =£8.50
To be an Amazon Flex driver, you'll need Hire & Reward (H&R) car insurance as *an extra on top of nomal car insurance.*
If any package or car damages occur & not have H&R driver is liable.
H&R insurance yearly £2000+ (£5.50 per day)

£11.45 + £8.50 + £5.50 = £25.45 (without normal car insurance)

*Worker made Amazon money but what did the worker make?*

Logistics is key mate, 3.5 hours on a night is best. I do well each week, £300 on average. Varies of course from town to town.

Be careful with flex mate, I done it years ago. I had good ratings but they just terminated my contract and didn’t give me a reason why. I use to always complete my round’s most the time early and go back to the depo. But they just terminated me and that was it, I appealed but you argue with a robot its just pointless, been trying to get back on it ever since.
