I agree the $75k Darkhorse should be whippled 875hp factory and next GT500 be 1026hp+(Beat Demon 170). Since we at the end of the V8 era supposedly go all out with a bang

From a fellow S650 owner, I say hold on to it and try and enjoy it. Prior to the S650 I had a 2018 Q50 sport I gave up on too soon because there was zero tuning at the time. Roughly a few months after selling it, tunes and aftermarket turbos and etc came out. Now there’s Q50 3.0ts pushing 700whp regularly, goracebox and similar companies are waking them up. Hopefully there will be someone waking up the S650s soon.

The Apple CarPlay issue: You might have already found this out since submitting this video. You’re right, it is a bug, but you don’t have to turn off the car. You can go to Home > Settings > Phone List, and you’ll see that your phone connects to Bluetooth in (3) different ways (phone calls, audio, and CarPlay). This n your case you may just have to click the CarPlay button. Let me know if this addresses your issue. Thanks.

every vehicle has its issues and none are perfect I have an S650 and the carplay issues are real but I also had them on my 2 S550s as well so I'm pretty sure that's an Apple issue as far as the filters, if you're going to open up her airways and let all the road gunk in there you should probably just invest in some washable/reusable filters cheaper than replacing them all the time I got the PP so the cooling isn't an issue for me I love my S650 and I would trade my FBO S550 in for it again tomorrow if I had to zero regrets here

You are complaining about how the car was designed! Get the car tuned aftermarket if you want aftermarket performance. Also, never buy a product right out the box.

Not just Mustangs that have the Buggy Sync 4 system. If you don’t get sound on CarPlay, the quickest way to fix it is turning on your WiFi to disconnect the CarPlay, turn WiFi back on once it disconnects, then go to your phone list and hit the CarPlay button next to your phone. This fixes the sound issue 9/10 times and takes a couple seconds. The bugginess of CarPlay is annoying and ongoing, though.

8:05 that’s been happening since the s550, just use the paddle shift to drop a gear when you go up a hill, switch to gear stick to sport and back to drive to get it back in automatic. Sounds like a bunch of steps but it literally takes 5 seconds in real time

Check your fuses. Sometimes, they are not pushed all the way in during assembly. People rushing...

I have an s650 and I have none of these issues. I have a manual so can’t comment on the automatics. Also I have not really paid attention to the like temps cos I don’t really drive it hard.

I am glad most of the ppl who have issues with the car are either because you can't tune it or some drag race issue. I just want something cool to cruise down the highway. The thing stuck on the loading screen, I wonder if its Unreal Engine. I am a dev for that engine and its known to crash often

I almost got a dark horse but decided not to and got a full optioned GT premium 10 speed. What lip do you have? I did get the performance pack and I do have the little cooler in the driver vent but honestly I don’t drive the mustang like that but I did notice my oil is cooler even on hot days. Now mine came full PPF and ceramic coated so it does protect against rocks and scuffs so for those that get one do the PPF it helps

if youre just cruising at 70-75, what are the expected oil temps? does it go up to 240s as well? or only when flooring

So I live in a hot climate as well but I have a PP GT with a manual so I don’t have the transmission problems, however for me that was common with my S550 with the automatic is that the transmission would get confused and not shift properly. I also don’t have the overheating issues and I drive relatively hard, I think on my 1300 mile road trip the highest temps I saw cruising down the highway was probably 220. I will say although I’ve never had the Apple CarPlay problem you described, when I’m listening to music you can watch the center stack freeze and everything stops and comes back and makes it unusable. For the scuff marks on the side skirts they bug me too, mine came with them from my dealership and they are not even where my foot could touch. My real only gripe with the car is that there’s like no actual buttons for the radio and climate controls. Other than that I love this car.

The most annoying thing is that the car won't shift if your using the adaptive cruise control it will try to go 40 mph in just first gear from a stop
