Disney Villainous Tournament - Gencon 2023 Part 1

On August 4th 2023 the first Disney Villainous Tournament was held at GenCon.

32 players will compete to prove that they are the most evil of them all!

Every match players will open an envelope revealing which villains they will play. The tournament is single elimination and the winner will take home the Golden Cauldron Trophy.

I like how the 1v1 matchups were preset. Having Hook and Maleficent go against each other is quite balanced. I'm remembering your Disney Villainous tier list, and having a matchup, with OG villains, between Prince John and the Queen of Hearts would be lopsided in the Queen's favor. Looking forward to seeing the other matchups!!

Wish this was in the Netherlands! I love this game and have played all the characters 100's of times to feel how to counter every meta. Would love to test them against competetive players too.🙏😊

Does anyone try to play the same characters against each other, meaning one player plays Hook against the other player who is also playing Hook? I've always wanted to do that, but don't want to invest in two of the same sets, but I think that would be my ideal way to play.

interesting. What are these changes and how to get them for the original set? Hope you don't have to purchase this new set. Are the changes only for Maleficent and Hook?

Where was this played (what city)? I remember volunteering for GenCon when it was still held in Milwaukee, WI. I think I would have rather played a board game vs RPG but mostly I was just working. Still fun to take time to walk around and see everything. Thx for your channel!
