This is the LG 38WN95C, what the company dubs as a wider, well-rounded experience, and what I'm gonna call one of my favorite products of 2020. See, one of biggest challenges with what I do is that I can't just use any monitor.. There are specific reasons why it needs to be the best at certain things, and after spending some time with it at CES, it was enough for me to know I needed to try it out. I just got this monitor in the last week its been great so far for gaming, photoshop, lightroom, Magix vegas post also reason music Daw. I put mine on a nice heavy duty Ergotron swing arm. More than fast enough for battlefield 4 on a 3090ti

I have an LG CX OLED 65 for the living room. I'll probably get this for the desk.

If you want this monitor with better warranty and a GSync module, the Dell AW3821DW uses the same panel.

BTW, the aspect ratio of this screen is 24:10 rather than 21:9

Great review, I am looking to upgrade my 34" LG UW monitor (not just yet) and need one for photo editing, work productivity and gaming. I have not encountered a "perfect" monitor but this one seems to have all the features that I am looking for with minor imperfections.

alot of savvy comments. its a great review, postiive, negative, truth that the price is expensive and yet since its so great its still a gret buy. its not for you people( me included) that scold at the price. these people make a living out of it and maybe just maybe games every now and then! doesnt have to be a gamer to have a good gaming monitor given how hes using it for media production. well done jaime on the review and guys grow up will ya

I cringed at the fact that you play a game with 16:9 aspect ratio, when your monitor is 21:9 and the game supports it.

Unfortunately only the usb-c is an uplink port. In case of home office - when you use more than one input regularly and want your keyboard usb stick connected to the monitor-hub - this won't work without changing the usb-c input between these two inputs. Really the only negative especially compared to the Dell u3818dw (who can handle that). But a major minus if you are in a multi computer setup. Keeps me struggling buying it. In case I'm wrong ... let me know! Kind of hoping to be wrong ;-)

I would never get an LG monitor. Got one a couple of years ago that costed about $500 and it suffered a lot from image retention. Seems common on LG monitors.

at 3:28 I did the maths and it comes to over 6k pixels. Which makes me think I don't understand what 4K is in relation to UHD? Can you explain please?
