Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V) - You're gonna need a bigger boat... Trophy / Achievement Guide [Bronze / 5G]

Sharks spawn randomly in deep water. Go out on the ocean (preferably with a boat or Jet Ski) and watch your mini-map until it turns all dark blue. Keep navigating the boat or swim around. After a while you should see a red dot on your radar. That's the shark! Jump into the water and wait until it kills you. That may take some while, the shark doesn't spot you right away. It doesn't matter whether you stay still, swim around or dive. Once the shark kills you, the trophy / achievement will unlock. Sometimes the shark does even attack and destroy the boat which will also give you the trophy / achievement.

Just stray very far from land, go to the ocean to the point where your engine cuts and the boats sink and a shark should appear immediatly.

Works better than waiting for them to come.

When you try to die from sharks they are no where to be found. But when you do the submarine mission they are everywhere.

I just got in a random boat and drove as far away as I could from land. Eventually the engine died, the boat sank, and there was a shark their immediately.

Thats the one! I was playing as Micheal and could not get the shark to bite. Watching the video above, the shark took no time to get Franklin. It would be funny if it was easier to get eaten as one particular character!
