A new CBS News poll finds that voters are remembering former President Donald Trump's economy as good, which is boosting his lead in the potential 2024 matchup with President Biden. Anthony Salvanto has more.

Meanwhile in New Orleans, the mayor is about to be evicted for not paying her rent - for over a year! And remember Barbara Boxer, a former US Senator from California? She was habitually delinquent in paying her Senate expense bills. At one point, she was $200K behind and forbidden from eating in the capitol dining room. And perhaps this is minor, but she never tipped the servers either. Apparently, then-Senator Kamala Harris acted like she owned the place. It says a lot that Symone Sanders quit working for her after less than a year.

It is pretty simple, just because the stock market is up does not mean everyone in the country is in a better place. If you look at food, insurance, home and fuel costs from 3 yrs ago, we are way higher right now than then. The avg person that does not make 6 figures is feeling incredible pressure right now to make ends meet. This will not change over night and does not matter that costs are not going up as fast right now. Over the last 3 yrs, avg costs of the above have risen around 25%. Most people did not have 25% of their pay check left over after paying bills and it is incredibly hard for them to make ends meet.
