This video is not intended for children under the age of 14. Quite frankly, kids...I'm just some random old dude talking about nostalgic TV and movie stuff from a really long time ago and I highly doubt that it is going to interest you.

I think you have a great channel. You bring me back to a time when I was a kid and everything was so simple.

Oh my God! I actually met Linda Purl when I was a 14-year-old bus boy at a country club in the late '70s; she got brought to a wedding reception I was working and Desi arnaz Jr was a friend of the bride and brought her as his date. When I went to take Desi's plate, he backed up his chair and almost knocked me into the pool 🤣

The commercial at the end made me cry. Seems that's when everyone just got along a little better. ❤❤❤

As a 12 year old boy I had a big celebrity crush on Linda Purl.
Lynda Carter as well.
I miss the 70's

I would first like to say that we had some of the best episodic TV shows growing up as either children and teenagers in the '70's and '80's. Some of the best shows in those days were produced by Glen A. Larson and Aaron Spelling and others. There were so many great action/adventure and sci-fi shows and mystery and drama shows like The Six Million Dollar Man and Bionic Woman and Battlestar Galactica and Buck Rogers In The 25th Century, Chips, The Dukes Of Hazzard, BJ And The Bear, Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries, Knight Rider, The A-Team, Miami Vice and many others. We also had great '70's Saturday morning live action shows like Land Of The Lost, Space Academy, Jason Of Star Command and cartoons like The Superfriends and not to mention primetime Charlie's Angels. Forgotten female stars such as Pamela Sue Martin, Janet Louise Johnson, Pamela Hensley, Erin Grey, Randi Oakes, The blonde haired twins Candi and Randi Brough from BJ And The Bear and Catherine Bach. Maren Jensen and Laurette Spang, Susan Dey. I did not list all their shows they appeared in since anyone over 55 years of age should remember them very well and I was born in 1966 so I'm very familiar with all of them. Episodic television shows seem to be a thing of the past and I'm grateful I got to enjoy watching these shows at the time since these days Hollywood just seems to make nothing much worth watching anymore. The same goes with this modern day music we had the best music in the '70's and '80's and I'm glad for that also.

I watched Happy Days when I was growing up too. I first saw Linda Purl on The Waltons. I didn't remember her from Happy Days but I do remember her from Matlock.

Linda Purl will always be Charlene Matlock to me. She and Nancy Stafford were the best daughter figures on the show for Andy to play off of.

Slightly off topic but Richie telling Fonzi how much Fonzi means to him as he leaves is one of TV's greatest moments. "I don't know...how you tell someone that means so much to you just how much they mean to you...."...." I think you already have"..

Ya I know it's not a quote but you get it Dave. I know you do.

Erin M. was in a few roles before "HD", one was TV show "Daktari". The Star tabloid had a cover with Erin titled "Happy Days was Hell", which was around same time as that "Maury" appearance. Agree she was exploited by tabs.

I had already jumped ship on Happy Days before Lynda Goodfriend came along. Nothing in Common is one of my favorite smaller films. Fantastic cast and the actresses in particular from my pov. Eva Marie Saint was excellent, and it sent me on a search for all her other work, starting with North by Northwest. Best Armstrong was so cute, I wanted her for my gf. SELA WARD was perfect too in that she played kind of an unobtainable woman. I love seeing her. She had a great run on House. Jackie Gleason and Hector Elizondo were fantastic. I think I'll rewatch it this week. I'll keep an eye out for Lynda.
Erin Moran. It's tough navigating that world, and I think the timing of her career didn't help. She was pretty young when Happy Days became a blinding success.
Linda Purl was huge as a young woman, but she was a kid star in Japan first. My parents were friends with her parents through my Dad's work there in the 60's.

Okay after the comment about Linda Goodfriend being in Pretty Woman I had to go look it up. She's actually just before 8 minutes into the movie, and she's a tourist in a turquoise top trying to take a picture of a crime scene, and the detective that tells her to go away is actually Hank Azaria!

Funny my husband is a fan off the office. I never watched it much but I love Matlock. I didn’t realize that there was a connection. 🤯🤯

Thank you sir for keeping my childhood memories alive! I’ll never forget the episode of Happy Days where Fonzie s cousin flips quarters off he’s forearm and then catch them in your hand. Back then in grade school we all watched tv in real time because not many people could afford cable or a VCR . So the next day everyone brought in quarters and tried to catch them in class . Does anyone remember doing that ? Thanks 😊

I was born the same year as Erin Moran (1960). I wish she would have found more success in Hollywood. I missed seeing her after Happy Days.
