I usually don’t like or listen to Van but objectively he has a point. I just took a class on the stock market and I’m learning to trade. Most of my people I talk to tell me that it’s a hit or miss, gambling, you gotta be lucky or the market is down and it’s a bad time to try to get in. That lets me know we don’t have the knowledge and experience in these fields he spoke of. In particular the stock market. We could exponentially increase our wealth within a generation!

What I heard was proximity. I work in education for a private school and I will say these kids are being groomed for these great careers. One because they know they exist because of friends and family and two because the school is preparing them to get into elite colleges that lead to these areas. Public schools in the hood ain’t doing that. They trying to get kids to show up and stop kids from having sx on campus. I say the hood because most black folks in this country are poor. The black kids who get to go to good schools are just fine, but they have it hard also because there aren’t enough of us there to pull them in and when they get in they don’t wanna help other blacks get in because they don’t want their rep ruined or they want to be the only successful black

There are two industries I think many people are overlooking. Not sexy but will always be a need. Plenty of money over time to be made in Agriculture and Logistics. All over the U.S you can find opportunities in both.
