In this video I am wanting to do a compression test on the DR650 to check the health of the engine. I notice that I have a possible headgasket leak and want to see if if the cylinder is still healthy. Its not a straight up how to video kinda a video of my me going along.

This video skips the valve check/adjustment I made another video of it, check it out if you interested in learning how to adjust/check your valves on your DR650.

My bike gave me 140 psi. Is that normal?

Iriduim plugs come gapped from the manufacturer and you should not change the gap as it can damage the precious metal tip. Thats why they recommend not to do it. I also use copperslip antiseize as the site is exposed to heat. With the JE Hi Comp piston are you running hi octane fuel ?

After this video how many more miles did your bike last? The spec for compression for the dr is 120 psi based on clymer manual.

Hi man! When I tried to do compression test - I got really low reading. After some reaserch Ifound info, that DR has auto-decompressor. So I'm little confused - because with less then 100 psi I should have problems with even starting engine.

All 4 stroke bikes will have a little bit of oil residue in the head gasket area. It's just the nature of them. Ride on...

And the harbor freight gauges are not accurate at all! Many topic on the forums on this.
