The issue with humans is that we find the need to justify a lot of things that aren't right. How to know that you are grown is not always about overcoming it, it's mainly about learning through the process and knowing that life isn't all bells anf roses. And most importantly, being a source of comfort to others even when you feel like you're going through it. Like this is not justifiable. Do you know if the door you hurt or destroyed, do you know if the family have enough money for repair, what if they have college tuition debt on them, bills and others? Then you only think about your pain for the moment. Humans need to start learning to see the bigger picture, stop using alcohol or under the influence of something to justify heinous acts.
