On "EWTN News Nightly" tonight: It's election day in Georgia... again. More than 1.8 million people have already cast their ballots in early voting, which is a record. Meanwhile, the candidates continue to stump for votes. Susan Crabtree with Real Clear Politics, joins to share what she thinks the outcome will be. And before President Joe Biden flew off to Arizona, he stopped to talk with reporters briefly. White House Correspondent Owen Jensen asked him about the “Respect for Marriage Act,” which the leaders of his own Catholic faith reject outright. In Rome, International Volunteer Day highlighted those who offer their services to the faithful. One initiative, founded in part by the Sisters of Charity held a celebration on Saturday in honor of its 10th anniversary. Director of the India Group Onlus Committee and Vice President of the Thouret Foundation, Marco Petrini, joins to tell us more about Saturday's event. Finally this evening, the Vulnerable People Project's Coal for Christmas initiative aims to help 1 million Afghans at risk of starvation and exposure this winter. Host of the Jason Jones Show and champion of Catholic Human Rights, Jason Jones, joins to set the stage and tell us more about what at-risk Afghan families are facing as winter approaches.
