adding power supply to hp desktop for gaming gpu

Показать описание
DO AT YOUR OWN RISK
it seems to work just like any other gaming computer after adding the gtx960 with a 6 pin connection.
originally ran a gtx1050 but bought a used gtx960 to experiment on.
YOU NEED TO ADJUST THE POWER SUPPLY TO 12 VOLTS!!!
also switch it to 110/220 volts depending on your power source.
i used the cheapest power supply i could find. they make better ps that can be switched on/off or you can wire a switch into the supply. i had to buy a second power supply because the first one did not work.
if you wanted to add a better graphics card, you would probably need to get a vertical gpu mount or find some other way of mounting it.
parts used:
110/220 12v 20a 250w power supply ($10)
6 to 8 pin pci adapter ($3)
300v 18 awg 120v plug ($8?)
Gtx960 gpu ($50)
