Hi how are you? You know what it's the first review I see from this monitor that says that it actually charges the laptop, everywhere else says it doesn't. Are you running a 13" inch MacBook Pro or a 15"? I ask that because of the wattage needed to power up the laptop. Your answer would be pretty helpful for me since I'm trying to decide on a monitor to buy and this one is one of my options. Regards and keep up the good work.

Hi, amazing review. Wanted to know, if the screen quality is as good as a TV? if I play youtube or Netflix, will this be near to TV experience or there is a big difference(in terms of just screen quality and not speaker)? I intend to purchase it for office work(word/excel/ppt) and watching movies.

Hello, can anyone tell me what picture mode/picture settings u are using? cuz standard looks toooo pale and grey-ish..blacks are not blacks, they are more gray then black, and i tried to change brightness, contrast but it doesnt help...the only solution which works for me is when i put HDR mode ON...but then my eyes hurt after a while...

Does this charge the 15 inch macbook pro to 100% while in full use? I have read and watched many reviews of this monitor and every other source advises that the power output it not enough to charge to 100%. Do you ever need to plugin another power source to keep it charged? I think a lot of people would purchase this monitor if the internet was not filled with information that it is unable to charge via usb-c, thanks in advance!

"Sharpest 4k ever". Just repeat it... sharpest 4k ever... How can one 4k Monitor with the excact same resolution be sharper than an another one? Weird description. It could be better in other terms but its as sharp as its resolution is.

EVERY review I have seen (and BenQ itself)says this is a “video IN only” usb-c port. Definitely NOT a lightening port. Your review is leaving me stymied with regard to the usb-c port on the 3270-U.

I have a home-based office workstation (currently an iMac) but I'm considering moving to new hardware to make a hybrid workstation that includes a desktop, a laptop and external monitors fed by an eGPU box. I was thinking about a 6-core i7 MacMini for the desktop and a MacBook Air for a portable. I would want this arrangement so I could unleash the power of having more than one monitor for personal, business and videography/photography part-time use. I'm thinking one monitor would be an ultrawide, that could multitask common office productivity tasks and also be a good timeline monitor for Final Cut, and also an additional 4K monitor that could rotate for detailed document / DTP tasks or be used as a video review display.


I'm wondering how many high-quality 4K displays are currently on the market that can do great video and graphics but also rotate for document/DTP work, especially ones that could channel the power of a good eGPU.
