Mezzo-soprano Georgia Burashko participated in The Rebanks Family Fellowship and International Performance Residency Program at The Royal Conservatory’s Glenn Gould School, 2018-2019. Here she performs George Frederic Handel’s “Verdi prati” from Alcina with Julie Wedman, Valerie Gordon, Emily Eng, Felix Deak and Christopher Bagan.

Art of this kind in many senses is imperiled in the modern world and so too the verdi e prati the green fields and meadows all over the world threatened by the bullzdozers and builders of "improvement" and "development" ie destruction by agents of the ideology of economic growth

This is great, the piece seems easy, but it needs a solid and coordinated head voice, she've done it very good!!!
